The AIALIK chalet is located on the low-altitude Folliet mountain pasture at 1250 m, just above the Planay, only 500 m away (10 min walk on the Folliet path). It is a little slice of heaven that seems remote in its valley, overlooked by the peaks of Mont Mirantin and La Grande Journée, which culminate at 2400 m. A little taste of Alaska reinforced by the presence of the torrents of Argentina and Mirantin that pass not far from the chalet. The space Summer and winter, it is the unusual mountain 500 m from the ski lifts, ski lessons from the ESF, various ski shops and other restaurants... This cottage is a beautiful family adventure. Stéphane, Elsa, Niels and Swann, accompanied by local businesses, their families and friends, put all their energy into carrying out this renovation while respecting tradition without sacrificing modern comfort. The old barn that housed Noël Joguet's cows until the summer of 2017, has been transformed into a children's room (sleeps 4) with custom bunk beds to free up a play space, a bedroom with 2 single beds (which can be joined), a large bathroom, a separate toilet and a cellar/laundry room equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. The barn that contained the hay has become the living floor, featuring a large living-dining-kitchen room, equipped with a wood-burning stove, a bathroom + toilet and a bedroom for a couple. This living floor is topped on its half by a very cozy 26 m2 mezzanine with flat screen/DVD corner, bookcase and sofa bed. The mezzanine is large enough for large board games for 8 or 10... or a movie session... Sleeps: On level 0: - an "Everest" bedroom with 2 beds 80 x 190 cm separable or joinable - the "Alaska" children's room with 4 beds 80 x 190 cm including 2 bunk beds (minimum 8 years old) On Level 1: - one "Ama Dablam" duo bedroom with 1 bed 160 x 190 cm On the 2nd floor mezzanine: - 2 sofa beds offering a 140 x 190 cm bed Outdoors: You can access a comfortable terrace and garden blending into the landscape of the Folliet alpine pasture. A large outdoor larch table 3.00 m long with benches can accommodate the whole household. Chilean beds, ottomans and barbecue will enhance your rest and comfort after the mountain effort. Some cupboards are partly occupied for storage of our personal belongings. But there is plenty of room in each room to store the belongings of a week or two. In the laundry room, 2 closed cupboards store some personal reserves. However, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee packs, etc. are available to facilitate your arrival.
