This friendly and modern apartment is in the center of the city's tourist area, where there are several hotels, restaurants, shops, bathing complexes and a fantastic promenade where you can end the day with a relaxing walk. The apartment has a simple and careful decoration, thinking about all your comfort and well-being! With a bedroom, double bed, living room with sofa bed and a bathroom; the house can accommodate a maximum of four people. Next to the living room there is a balcony, where you can take your meals or continue reading the book you chose for this vacation. The property features all amenities and a parking space (subject to availability). THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND SURROUNDINGS After a day of sightseeing on the island, there's nothing better than returning home to rest. But not before tasting the delicacies of Madeira, available in the various restaurants near the building. The renovated Lido beach, recovered in May 2016, is only a ten-minute walk from the apartment. If you want to explore another seaside complex, you can enjoy Ponta Gorda (ten minutes' walk). Both offer swimming pools, access to the sea and a restaurant. Praia Formosa, typical for its pebbles and black sand, is about a five-minute drive away. Nearby there is a medium-sized supermarket among other services. TRANSPORTATION For airport departures and arrivals, there is an airbus stop about two minutes from the house. However, we recommend the transfer as the best option to get to the apartment. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the apartment. GUEST INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. Contact us via mobile numbers or email. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. OTHER NOTES - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, high chair and baby bath if needed. There is a first-aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket in all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Tax will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist developments and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 years or older, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights for a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay.
