The Chapel

The Chapel is large and characterful and perfect for families and groups. It has 3 bedrooms all with en suite's, plus two sofa beds and 3 portable beds, which can accommodate up to 13 adults comfortably. The space The Chapel is a very spacious and family friendly holiday property. The sitting room is approximately 40 foot long with a full size American pool table, 4, three seater sofas, one of which is a sofa bed and a baby grand piano. The open plan kitchen on the first floor is perfect for entertaining, with a breakfast bar and an oak table that can easily seat up to 12 guests. The large first floor bedroom has a king size 4 poster bed, high ceiling and a chandelier. Both bedrooms on the second floor have 6 foot super king zip and link beds, which can be divided into single beds. All bedrooms have their own en suite and are large enough to be able to accommodate additional portable beds - of which we have 3. So, with the leather chesterfield bed settee in the sitting room and another in the master bedroom along with the portable beds, The Chapel can easily accommodate up to 13 guests comfortably. The Chapel has its own garden with a covered built in seating area, perfect for relaxing or alfresco dining. There is a picture of a hot tub in the garden which guests had hired from Goodwins in Margate, so if you would like to do the same you are very welcome. And for only £25 extra they will even provide the hot water so it can be used almost immediately. We also don't charge for heating the hot water when they bring it. In additional to The Chapel, there are two cottages within the historic grounds of Manston Court. Both have one bedroom and are also listed on this site. One is called Well Cottage and is all on one level, so perfect for the grandparents or guests preferring not to have stairs. The other is called Annie's Cottage and is on two levels with the bedroom on the first floor. Guests are welcome to also hire these properties for a special family holiday. The Chapel has a Gold 4 Star rating from Visit England. Annie's Cottage has a 4 Star and Well Cottage has a Gold 3 Star rating. Guest access The Chapel has its own private fully enclosed garden which is perfect for outside dining or relaxing. Other things to note At Manston Court we have 3 holiday properties in total. Annie's Cottage (over 2 floors) and Well Cottage (all on one level). Both have one bedroom and a sofa bed in the sitting room. The Chapel has 3 large bedrooms, a sofa bed and 3 additional portable beds, which makes it the perfect location for a memorable family holiday where everyone can be catered for. Also there are lots of free events during the year in Thanet from Dickens Week in July and Folk Week in August both in Broadstairs, to international volley ball tournaments on the beach at Margate, just to mention a few. You can see exactly what's going on locally when you go to the Visit Thanet website. And for something quite spectacular you can even watch the Red Arrows do their air display at Margate from almost anywhere in Thanet, and if you don't see them you can certainly hear them! And you can take a closer look at the planes when they are parked at Manston Airport where they frequently practice before the event. Why not come and see for yourself.
