Large Gîte in Picturesque Perigord Vert

Beautifully converted and well-appointed gîte in the Parc Natural in the Perigord Vert. Set in a hamlet with stunning views, this property accommodates 6-10 with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 private terraces, BBQs and the sole use of a swimming pool. We have a family house nearby which we use as a summer retreat. We are not there every summer, but when we are, we like to engage in simple pleasantries and aim to please. The space Set in a cosy and friendly hamlet, Les Veilles Ecuries (the 'Old Stables') is made up of an old farmhouse, barn, and two adjoining gites: the Farrier’s Cottage (sleeps 6, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms) and the Farrier’s Workshop (sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms, one bathroom). The separate cottages (rented as one), each with their own terrace and BBQ, are well furnished and equipped. The Farrier’s Cottage has a large open plan ground floor living space with a 3x3 fitted kitchen and a 7x4 lounge/dining and a tiled shower room. Upstairs are the three bedrooms and the large bathroom. The Farrier’s Workshop on the ground floor also has a large open plan living space with a 4.20x2.20 m fitted kitchen and a 6x4 m lounge/dining, a double bedroom and a bathroom. Upstairs there is the mezzanine leading to the 3.20x5 m twin bedroom. Guest access Guests have access to the majority of the grounds and the swimming pool area. However, we ask that gardens in front of the main farmhouse (on the left hand side of the swimming pool, behind a hedge row and small gate) remain private for the owners use. Other things to note Please ensure that you do not use any glass around the swimming pool. There are plastic cups provided for this use.
