In our cozy apartment in Dietersweiler near Freudenstadt, which was refurbished and renovated in 2015, families as well as solo travelers or couples can spend relaxing days. The vacation rental is located in a Black Forest shingle house from around the year 1770. A spacious plot with a large garden and old fruit trees awaits you. The vacation rental is located on one level on the raised ground floor. Two more apartments are located in the house and are occupied by us and the parents. The house is adjacent to orchards that have their very special charm in every season: In the spring, the flowering fruit trees and meadows are fascinating. In summer, the trees offer protection from the sun. In the fall, it smells of apples, pears and plums. In winter, snow and ice glitter on the branches. Hiking trails start right at your doorstep and after a short distance you can reach the forests around the place. Our apartment with approx. 90 square meters offers you spacious rooms; 2 bedrooms: - 1st bedroom with double bed (200 x 200 cm) - 2nd bedroom with 2 separate beds (each 100 x 200 cm). A large living/dining room with panoramic window with view and access to the south terrace with garden furniture. A fully equipped kitchen-living room with dining area. A modern bathroom with vanity and shower. Separate toilet. The apartment is suitable for up to 4 adults. Families with children are welcome here! We shall gladly provide a baby crib and high chair free of charge upon request. The apartment has a parking space in the yard for your vehicle. In the spacious garden, children will find a sandbox, a swing and plenty of space to romp. There are also chickens in the garden at home. In winter, when there is snow, it is possible to go sledding directly behind the house. Dietersweiler is characterized by its proximity to Freudenstadt (about 5 km) and is located between orchards, fields and forests. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet who would like to vacation in the Black Forest. A great starting point for hikes, bike rides, excursions. It offers the typical village character without having to do without anything. In the village you will find a baker, a butcher, a post office and an Italian restaurant. For the little ones, there are some beautifully located playgrounds. Within walking distance you can reach the nearest bus stop with regular connections to Freudenstadt. Around Dietersweiler there are a variety of hiking trails where nature can be enjoyed on walks. Nearby forests invite you to hike, Nordic walk and cycle. On many hiking trails you can fortify yourself with a hearty snack in one of the popular "Vesperhütten" [snack shacks]. Animal lovers will also find what they are looking for: horses, cows and sheep can be found in and around Dietersweiler. In the village museum, the history of the place can be "experienced." One or the other festival also takes place in Dietersweiler during the year: Maypole, solstice celebration, museum festival and much more. In summer, the nearby natural outdoor pool in the neighboring municipality of Glatten is ideal for cooling off. Numerous other attractions in the area offer a varied stay in all seasons: Freudenstadt impresses with the largest market square in Germany, the panoramic swimming pool, its traditional festivities such as the city festival, the African festival and much more. Golfers can enjoy an 18-hole golf course on the outskirts of Freudenstadt. The heights of the northern Black Forest are a must. Here you can experience the fascinating nature by car along the Black Forest High Road (B500) or explore the countless hiking trails and adventure trails such as the "Lothar Path" on foot. Skiers will also get their money's worth in winter: in the nearby area (20 minutes' drive) at an altitude of approx. 1000 m, you will find several possibilities for alpine downhill skiing (partly with floodlights), well-prepared cross-country ski trails (partly with floodlights) and toboggan runs. The "Nordschwarzwald" National Park, which opened in 2014, also offers its guests many highlights. If you would like to pamper your feet, the "Barfusspark" in Hallwangen is the place to be. Baiersbronn with its many districts is not only scenic, but also offers a culinary experience at a high level with several star restaurants - such as the "Traube Tonbach."
