Casa Karen 1 has a large covered porch, so that you can enjoy dining outdoors. Inside, the wall-free design makes this a very sociable space. We are open all year round. The space The large living room has two built-in sofas (both can be used as single beds) arranged around an open fireplace to crate a cozy athmosphere when Viento de Levante is strong! The house has an ample kitchen slightly raised from the main living space and separated by an Andalucian tiled breakfast bar; a great space for keen cooks. The bedroom has a hand-made wooden double bed and two windows, one overlooking the countryside and another opening onto the courtyard that blooms with bright pink Bougainvillea for much of the year. In the afternoon you get the best of the golden light of the Costa de la Luz that comes streaming through the window, filling the whole room with sun kissed colours. Perfect for a siesta. Pets are welcome but there is an extra charge of €15 per night per pet. Other things to note The Trafalgar Lighthouse separates the main bay of Caños from the open waters of the Atlantic (a sublime place for the sunset), while the area itself is a famous place for surfing, swimming or scuba diving, and the beautiful countryside is perfect for walking, cycling or horseback riding, crossing the hills and meadows of the Breña and Marismas de Barbate Natural Park.
