Appledore Barn, East Trayne Holiday Cottages

Appledore Barn is a barn conversion in a group of three cottages which has been sensitively renovated retaining many of it's original features. It sits in an 11 acre small holding with stunning views over the North Devon countryside. The first level open plan living space takes advantages of this and the interior is stylishly contemporary with all modern facilities. A kingsize bedroom and twin bedroom both have luxury ensuite bathrooms plus a sofa bed in the living space. The space The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern facilities including dishwasher, full-sized fridge freezer, split-level oven and microwave. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and clothes dryer and washing line. There is an external private patio space with seating and a gas BBQ with exceptional views over Exmoor. The lounge has a log burner and comfortable furniture with access to free logs. There is a 48 inch Smart TV, Blueray DVD player and selection of DVDs, Bluetooth speaker and range of games, books and cookery books. The kingsize bedroom has a flat screen TV and a large ensuite shower room. The twin bedroom has a bathroom with overhead shower and also has a flat screen TV. There is plenty of storage in each of the rooms. There is access to a cycle store and bootwash and plenty of car parking. Families can meet with sheep, chickens, ducks and pigs on our smallholding. There is a local pub 15 minutes walk away serving excellent food and a wide range of other pubs and restaurants nearby. A complementary welcome pack of homemade and local produce will greet you as well as options for home cooked food in your fridge on arrival and during your stay. Guest access We want you to enjoy our open space as much as we do and there is access to the fields and animals throughout your stay including collecting eggs from our hens and feeding the pigs and sheep. Other things to note The views from the property are exceptional and the facilities are of the highest standard. We are situated within striking distance of rugged Exmoor and the award-winning beaches of the North Devon coast making it a perfect location to explore the local area. We offer 7 night stays in the high season and 3 night minimum stays at other times of the year. We are happy to welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs.
