"Sunset Cottage" Yarra Valley

"Sunset Cottage" is an inspirational space offering unique accommodation for the person looking for something different. In its previous life, The self-contained cottage has been a store shed, a farm shed, an office and a Tack room. Now it offers a calm, relaxing place to stay. Yarra Downs is a commercial, working farm, breeding grass fed, Black Angus cattle. The deck area is perfect to relax and watch hot air balloons in the mornings, local bird life and gorgeous sunsets. The space Sunset Cottage is located on Yarra Downs Farm. The cottage is a fusion of architectural style. furnishings and fittings. The cottage has character and charm. It includes a deck area which is perfect to relax and watch hot air balloons in the mornings, local bird life and of course some gorgeous sunsets in the evenings, looking over the Yarra Flats. Being a working farm, at times you may see/hear a tractor, farm vehicle etc, the cottage is naturally a part of the farm atmosphere. Our location is perfect for its proximity to local wineries, music venues, wedding venues, Healesville Sanctuary, local walking and riding trails, cinema, the Yarra River and of course the Healesville foodie hub and specialty stores. NB. Being located on the "Yarra Flats" results in occasional flooding, hence some photos show times of flood on the flats. Guest access Guest Charges: Guests have access to the complete Sunset Cottage as a self-contained cottage. The Cottage provides either a 1 Bedroom option or a 2 Bedroom Option. We provide an economical option for two people at a twin share rate using only 1 Bedroom, rather than charging the max capacity of 4 persons when only 1 Bedroom is used. You still have the cottage to yourself. If you are two people and wish to use both bedrooms, please amend the booking to 3 people to secure the use of the second bedroom. This will charge you an additional fee to reflect the extra room use, washing and cleaning, etc. Accordingly, please note that a two guest bookings is assumed as a twin share booking, i.e., one bedroom use. The booking portal does not provide a feature to highlight that two people are a twin-share booking. It is, however, listed in the House Rules. Other things to note 2 people booking is assumed as a twin share, i.e. one bedroom use. If you are two people and wish to use both bedrooms, please book for 3 people to secure the use of the second bedroom.
