This pretty accommodation has two thoughtfully decorated bedrooms: a super-king-size room with a cute desk nook and a peaceful king-size. Both sleep sanctuaries are provided for by a tasteful bathroom with a luxurious roll-top bath and rainfall shower – great for washing off sandy toes. When you're not relaxing in this superb cottage, make the 200-metre stroll down to Aldeburgh's pebble beach, where your family will surely enjoy relaxing in the beach chairs kindly supplied by the property owners. To the north, hire a rowboat on the Meare at the holiday village of Thorpeness (2.5 miles), or follow the waymarked 6.5-mile route where you'll be met with a tummy-filling pub lunch and a pint of Suffolk's finest. For a classic day at the seaside, venture up to Southwold to meander along its famous pier, spot its iconic lighthouse, and sample its award-winning fish and chips.
