The Old Mill, Luxury House on River Island.

The Old Mill, is one of 2 newly converted houses situated on a private river island in the New Forrest. The house is not suitable for young families and regrettably we do not accept dogs. The upside house with large windows, makes the most of the 360 degree river views and is a nature lovers dream. The space The Old Mill is a unique, 5 bedroom, 5 bathrooms ‘upside down’ house. The open planned kitchen-living room is located upstairs, and boasts dual sided views of the river and water meadows, framed perfectly by the floor to ceiling windows. The spacious sofa area by the TV flows into the dining table, which is right next to the large, fully kitted out kitchen. The double bedroom en-suite shower room is also found on this floor. Downstairs, along the spacious corridors are the remaining bedrooms, a King Bath en-suite, 2 Twin Shower en-suites and 1 Twin room with an WC and shower room just outside. (All Twin rooms can be made into King rooms on requests). The corridor leads out to the patio garden with outdoor seating and a BBQ. The house includes a BBQ patio and a private garden, that face the unobstructed views of the water meadow. The Old Mill can be rented in conjunction with the other house on the island, Meadow Cottage, sleeping 8. An additional event space can be hired by guest, for group meals and celebrations. Please inquire about this on booking. Guest access All the information needed for your stay will be emailed to you a week before your arrival. The keys will be left in a key box by the front door, and the code will be emailed to you at 16:00 on the day of your arrival. Other things to note Please note, should you wish to charge an electric vehicle, permission needs to be sought from the owners, and fees will apply.
