Small creatures such as flies, moths, ants, spiders, or the occasional cockroach may sometimes find their way inside, particularly near door tracks or windows. In warmer seasons, you may also encounter mosquitoes and midgies, especially in the evenings. Unfortunately, these insects are part of the natural environment, and there is nothing we can personally do to prevent them. We recommend bringing insect repellent and keeping windows and doors closed whenever possible. While we take all reasonable measures to minimize insects, sightings—particularly in outdoor areas or entry points—may happen from time to time. This is a normal part of living in Australia and does not indicate a cleanliness issue. Refunds or discounts will not be provided for the presence of insects unless there is a severe, unresolved issue reported during your stay.
