Everyone loves Jacks Garden Cottage, it’s just so special. Built as simple lodgings in the 1920’s, newly renovated in 2020 this semi self- contained dwelling is extremely cosy, very romantic and quiet. A small entry door, opens to a wonderfully furnished lounge complimented by pot belly wood heater and small kitchenette designed to make tea or coffee and prepare a simple meal. The bedroom area is large and hosts a king size bed, a wonderful cast iron hip bath is neatly tucked in the corner. The space The space captures a by gone era with simple and comfortable furnishings forming a unique stay. Upon entry the space is both cosy and spacious. Small kitchen area to make tea or coffee and prepare a simple meal. Modern spacious bathroom beyond kitchen area. Wonderfully furnished generous lounge complimented by pot belly stove. Step up to the bedroom area which is very large, windows overlooking the garden and small courtyard, king size bed prepared with ironed cotton and linen. Cast iron bath is neatly tucked away in the corner. Very private and extremely quiet, Old jacks cottage is only 5 mins walk to town. Guest access Jacks Garden Cottage is accessed via a little wicked gate at the front of Poets Lodge, a stone path leads you to the cottage. There is a small deck area with table setting for 2 outside.
