Il Troncolo is a beautiful farmhouse with the typical architecture of Tuscan farm buildings, built in the mid-1800s. The farmhouse with its large garden is located within the extraordinary scenery of the private Migliarino Natural Park, owned by the Salviati family since 1500. The fully fenced farmhouse, formerly used as the residence of the gamekeeper, was renovated in 2007 respecting tradition and preserving the original architectural elements. The space Guests seeking peace and quiet will be welcomed in a green oasis in the middle of one of the best preserved pine forests on the Tuscan coast. The rooms are furnished with an elegant country simplicity, are spacious and arranged on two floors with two bedrooms with private bathroom on the upper floors and living room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor with direct access to the garden. Guest access A few steps from the farmhouse, a private gate, strictly reserved for guests of the Troncolo, gives access to the woods, a nature reserve, part of the Regional Park of Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli. Once you enter, long avenues and paths will await you, intertwining amidst domestic pines, holm oaks, bald cypresses and oaks over an area of 2000 hectares. You may come across fallow deer, wild boars and other wild animals that live there in absolute freedom. Just 4 km of state road, also beautiful to travel by bicycle, you reach the enchanting sandy beach of Marina di Vecchiano, adjacent to the woods and still part of the Natural Park. Here you can choose whether to take advantage of the bathrooms equipped with deckchairs, bars and comfortable services, or enjoy the unspoiled nature of the kilometers of free beach that extends to Torre del Lago and then Viareggio.
