Without doubt one of our most ambitious and spectacular launches to date… Drawing inspiration from 20 years of offering exceptional Venice rentals and hosting friends old and new from all four corners of the globe, it’s with heartfelt thanks to all the ‘pros’ making this recent mission possible that we roll out the red carpet for - The space La Dimora di San Maurizio Curated to captivate - and with stellar service for peace of mind… An entire 5-STOREY VOV-OWNED PALACE cradling 4 newborn apartments in one of the most prestigious locations in the San Marco sestiere Restored by maestros in the art of reawakening tired spaces with the sympathy and respect such venerable buildings deserve, these lavishly appointed apartments boast fully bespoke interiors in a signature style much-admired for its vitality and verve Poised prettily in pink opposite the Museum of Music in sunny Campo San Maurizio, between the cafés of Santo Stefano and the luxury boutiques nuzzling St. Mark’s Square, La Dimora’s apartments are of differing sizes and sleep 30 guests in total when reserved for exclusive use Within a waltz of the world-famous La Fenice Opera House and the Gritti Palace’s Riva Lounge for glamorous Grand Canal-side drinks, all 4 air-conditioned apartments are accessible by lift and include - La Dimora di San Maurizio 2 (sleeps 8) Presenting ‘Opulence in Gemstone Colours’ A 4 double bedroom / 4 bathroom + 1 guest bathroom apartment Boasting high-spec fittings and accoutrements and an ambience we know you’ll love… Situated on the second floor served by lift and with a total of 8 tall arched windows to the fore overlooking the Campo towards the tipsily tilting bell tower of Santo Stefano - the palazzo’s most impressively proportioned apartment dressed in a kaleidoscope of gemstone hues and comprising: • A superbly appointed sitting room in ruby and sky blue topaz with whitewashed wooden beams overhead, wooden flooring topped with Kilim underfoot and - taking pride of place - an unashamedly indulgent (and very large!) L-shaped sofa for chilling with your fellow guests and lazy lounging with a view • A fully fitted kitchen/dining room (also to the front of the apartment) with integrated appliances plus a dining suite with inbuilt banquette and seating for 8 guests - note the decorative wall plates that bring to mind the pink flamingos that are known to frequent the shallows of the northern Venetian Lagoon… • The apartment’s uber-plush master bedroom – facing the Campo and home to a gorgeous double bed* decked out in citrine, sapphire and peridot tones, Oriental-style lanterns to either side, a custom-made wardrobe plus its own sparklingly fresh hematite-grey bathroom with luxurious walk-in shower • An equally impressive and very pretty second double bedroom - also front-facing and showcasing a double bed* with bespoke upholstery and fine linens, a mirror-fronted custom-made wardrobe plus a pristine separate bathroom of its own with meticulously tiled shower • The apartment’s delightful third double bedroom peacefully situated to the rear of the palazzo and expertly furnished with a double bed* attired in beautifully coordinated shades set beneath a ceiling of whitewashed beams and benefitting from a separate walk-in dressing room (shared with the second bedroom) and its own en suite luxury bathroom with bathtub and shower over • A fourth and final double bedroom - also positioned to the rear and home to a supremely elegant double bed* dressed for relaxation in amber and sapphire blue and with a fretwork-fronted wardrobe, writing desk and its own separate sparkling bathroom with bathtub and shower over And completing the accommodation at the centre of ‘Dimora 2’ - • A guest bathroom (loo and wash hand basin only) with Lewis & Woods ‘Womad’ wallpaper, mirror and soft lighting * Note that all 4 double beds within the apartment can each be made into 2 singles upon request ** Are you part of a larger group who’d like to stay close together but in separate apartments? We offer three other deluxe apartments within La Dimora di San Maurizio: Apartment 1 / 3 / 4 Please note that the operation of air-conditioning and heating are subject to municipality regulation. In general, heating is available from mid-October to mid-April, while air-conditioning is available from mid-April to mid-October. Please contact us for further information. Other things to note ALL VIEWS ON VENICE RATES, IRRESPECTIVE OF LENGTH OF STAY, ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE OF ALL UTILITIES* - gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival and check-in up until 8 p.m.** are all included, as are air-conditioning and internet access if available at your chosen apartment. And while the Venice Tourist Tax €4,00 per person per night*** is an extra, there are NO HIDDEN CHARGES. Rentals of over 7 nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay. * Telephone charges, where applicable, are extra. ** Our check- in time is from 15:00 up to 20 :00 ( arrivals before 15:00 can be organized upon request). Arrivals between 20.00 and midnight incur an arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival. We do organize check- in between midnight and 1:00 a.m. with a surcharge of € 100 to be paid in cash upon arrival. Check- in after 1:00 a.m. CAN ONLY BE ORGANIZED UPON REQUEST. These charges are due to the fact that Vov employs extra staff for these occurrences. *** Introduced by the City of Venice Council on stays at hotels, b&b, campsites, apartment rentals etc., this per night/per person tax is levied on the first 5 consecutive nights of a client’s stay in Venice and is payable to your Views on Venice representative in cash (euros) upon arrival at the apartment.
