"Stay Salty" is a newly restored and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in a beautiful Victorian period building. Situated in the heart of Teignmouth town centre looking over Bank Street, we are perfectly positioned for both the town and the beach, the latter being a circa 3 minute walk. There are parking options available- See below The space The property is well thought out and finished to a high standard in keeping with the quaint and charming characteristics of the original building. Comprising of a beautiful kitchen which includes plenty of storage and integrated appliances. Also you'll find some basic supplies provided. From the kitchen there are steps leading down to the open plan high ceiling living/dining room which is light and airy due to the natural light flooding in through the sash windows. Here you can enjoy an evening in with a movie on the 55 inch TV. SUPER FAST unlimited 67 Meg Fibre WiFi available in all rooms. All TV's are logged into Netflix. Bedroom 1 - King Size Double, TV, Wardrobe, powered Velux sky light, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath, rainwater shower and decorative floor tiles. Towels, soaps, and hair dryer provided. Bedroom 2 - *** Offered as 2 x Single Beds or Super King Double Bed*** TV, Chest of drawers, Hanging clothes rail, powered Velux sky light. Towels and hair dryer provided. Either bedroom can be offered with travel cot (please bring your own cot linen) or foldable guest bed. Also a high chair is available. Please specify these items when booking and what bedroom to have them setup. Family Bathroom - The stunning family bathroom also benefiting from rainwater shower and bath completes the accommodation. Soaps and towels provided. When arriving you are greeted with a wide and open entrance foyer with oak engineered flooring being carried out throughout the communal area. There is lift access to the apartment although a couple steps in hallway and in flat between levels. Teignmouth is a bustling seaside town with its active harbour and regency style seafront and pier. The town offers an array of shops, bars, restaurants, patisseries and bakery's. Teignmouth offers a beautiful scenic coastline with walks leading to neighbouring town of Dawlish or catch the Teign Ferry to Shaldon village (£1.50 each way). Endless hiking and cycling options to suit all - Bike hire available at Haldon Forest. Dartmoor is a half hour drive out of town. Teignmouth Train Station is on the main line - Exeter day trip can be as little as half an hour. Teignmouth itself offers fantastic transport links with easy access to the A380 on to the M5. If you are bringing your car there is plenty of parking available only a short walk from 'Stay Salty'. Quay Road Car Park is a 2 minute walk away & can be paid with card or smart phone Ringo app (ringo ID = 7717) Parking is £4.30 per 24 hours. The same car park using Ringo ID 7734 offers 7 day stay for £30 to save you having to top up daily.. Drop me a message if you'd like further details or alternative car park info.
