Spacious seaside bungalow & garden close to beach

A spacious bungalow that is ideal for a family gathering of upto 11 people. Most of our guests are family groups celebrating a special occasion or 2-3 families with children having a seaside break. Newly renovated, charming home built circa 1920. Comfortable and cosy with easy access to dunes and soft sand beach in unspoilt 'Hinterland' country (BBC TV series). Good wheelchair access for guests with limited mobility (see accessibility info) PLEASE NOTE: We don't accept dogs. No exceptions. The space The entire bungalow's ceilings and walls are (painted) wood, providing a cosy beach side vibe. There's plenty of space for everyone. Lego, Duplo, Games, jig-saws, books for young and old and a massive fenced garden. No place for boredom. There is a ramp for wheelchair access to the front porch and a movable threshhold ramp to the front door (please request). There is a low level access shower area and a comfort height toilet in the main shower room. The grab handles in the shower area are suction-hold and movable. There is also a shower chair available on request. The patio and garden is fully wheelchair accessible. Please note that EV charging is NOT allowed at our property. Guest access Guests will have exclusive use of the entire bungalow. There is a large, enclosed garden with a paved patio area with table, benches and chairs. The tarmac drive has plenty of parking spaces. The front porch, overlooking the golf course and dunes also has seating. The garage itself is not available but there is a utility space (behind garage space, separate from bungalow) for guests' use. It contains a washing machine, dryer a small fridge freezer as well as a cold water sink. There are a few bodyboards, a parasol and beach toys that guests can use. There is also a toilet and shower off the utility area. Guests also have access to the balcony at the back of the garage building. There is plenty of outside hard floor storage underneath the balcony for bikes, body boards, surfboards etc. but this area is not enrirely weatherproof. PLEASE NOTE check-in time is 4pm as turnaround takes 5-6 hours. However, if there isn't a same day changeover, we may be able to bring this forward. Please send us a request if you require an earlier check-in. Other things to note Room details are as follows: The main bedroom has a Superking bed that houses 2 single mattresses and a KS duvet. It also has a showerroom en-suite (electric shower, toilet and basin) with a tiled floor. There are 2 chairs and a chest of drawers as well as several clothing hooks. Bedroom 2 has a Kingsize bed with King size mattress and duvet. There are also 2 chairs, wall mounted clothing hooks and wardrobe storage. Bedroom 3 has a triple sleeper bunk ie a full size double bed below and a full size single above. There are 2 chairs, 2 large under bed drawers and a storage cabinet. Bedroom 4 has 2 single bunk beds, a chair and a chest of drawers, as well as cloting hooks. Bedroom 5 has 2 single beds, 2 chairs, wall mounted hooks and a chest of drawers. All bedrooms have towel rails for guests' towels. Apart from the main bedroom's ensuite shower there is an addional toilet and basin area opposite Bedroom 2, a very spacious showerroom with powershower, comfort height toilet and basin and a small bathroom with full size bath and small basin. There is a 4th toilet and extra shower available in the outside utility area. The kitchen/diner has plenty of storage and kitchen equipment, a dishwasher, electric oven, combined microwave/convection oven, induction hob and 2 under counter fridges. There is extra fridge freezer space in the outside utility area. There is also a 4 slice toaster, electric kettle, slowcooker, pressure cooker and BBQ electric grill. There is an iron and ironing board. There are two TV sets: a smart TV in the lounge (50") . The kitchen TV has a Chromecast that guests can use. For the safety of our guests and the security of our home, there is a security camera located in the space above the garage that overlooks the driveway alongside the property.
