Diamond Island Retreat TOO is the sister cottage to Diamond Island Retreat and located side by side. Both can be rented for extended family/friends getaway. This is the ideal beach getaway. It enjoys wonderful views over Diamond Island and the Little Penguin rookery that makes Bicheno a magnet to so many interstate and overseas visitors. As one of our guests said, "This is where memories are made" be it family or couples. This is the place to relax and do nothing or make it action-packed. . The space Diamond Island Retreat TOO is a comfortable two-bedroom cottage, ideal for families or small groups. The main bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom includes a two single bed and a trundle - perfect for kids or extra guests. The spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area creates a welcoming space to relax and spend time together. Unwind with a DVD movie, enjoy a selection of board games, or step out onto the deck for a peaceful evening under the stars. At certain times of the year, you may even be treated to the breathtaking beauty of the Aurora Australis. For those who enjoy outdoor living, fire up the gas BBQ and pair your meal with a bottle of wine or a few beers from one of the region’s excellent local vineyards/breweries. During the day, you’ll be spoiled for choice with nearby activities—whether it’s beach walks, fishing, surfing, or swimming. Just a short two-minute drive to Gordon Street brings you to pristine coastline, where powder-white sands and crystal-clear blue waters rival some of the world’s most stunning beaches. Guest access If you are driving, our property has FREE undercover parking as well as room for your boat or caravan. Bring your push bike as the area has some great shared cycleways. Cycling into the town to enjoy a meal or just a coffee is a lovely way to relax. Other things to note We ask that guests do not trespass onto neighbouring farm land.
