A fully renovated Cottage directly across the road from the lake and beach. Listen to the soothing sound of the ocean at night. Location couldn't be better with a one minute walk to shops, cafe's, restaurants etc. So close to Sydney, easy to get to and a truly stunning spot. The space A quaint beach and lakefront cottage filled with character and comfort. The main bedroom comes with two pillow top luxury king single beds linked together to make a large king size bed with a premium pillow top mattress. A new whisper quiet split system air conditioner has just been installed and the bed is made up with beautiful soft linen. Large glass bifold doors open the bedroom up to the sounds and view of the ocean and lake. The lounge / kitchen is combined and filled with plenty of light and character. There is a large Lounge that can convert to a comfortable sofa bed for any additional guests. (Linen not provided for the Sofa bed) A new split system air conditioner has recently been added for complete comfort in the cooler and warmer months. Large sky view skylights have been installed to allow plenty of light into the main living room. Fridge, Microwave, portable bench top oven and induction cooktop for basic cooking. Huge glass stacker doors open the entire space up to the beach and lake allowing the sounds of the sea and breeze into the cottage. The bathroom has been recently renovated and there is a door that leads to an outdoor courtyard at the rear of the property with a common clothes line and laundry. There is direct access to the veranda from the master bedroom and louver windows to enjoy the sea breeze and sounds of the ocean at night. The enclosed or open veranda is a great spot to sit in the cool of the evening with a glass of wine while the BBQ sizzles on the lush green lawn out the front. Off street under cover parking is provided directly next to the cottage and is certainly an advantage on busy weekends where street parking can be difficult to find. There is an unlimited supply of Nespresso capsules and some welcome drinks to enjoy on arrival regardless of the length of your stay. To sumarise, 'Sandy Corner' is a perfectly located cottage by the sea for those wanting a weekend / week away from the daily grind to simply unwind and relax. Once you arrive you won't need the car again as everything is at your fingertips and just a hop and a skip away from your doorstep. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property and access to a shared laundry and clothes line at the rear of the cottage. There is a key safe on site and a security code will be provided prior to your stay. This makes access to the property easy for those that may be checking in later at night or checking out early. There is also access to the two kayaks on site for those that wish to go for a paddle on the lake at sunset. It's a beautiful time of the day as its cool and the bird life is abundant. The kayaks can be unlocked on request. At the end of your stay it would be appreciated if the keys can be placed back in the key safe and locked for security. Other things to note There is off street undercover parking right beside the cottage. It is a fifty meter walk to the main shopping / cafe / restaurant area of Avoca Beach and the feeling of sand on your feet can be found by simply crossing the road. This is a strictly no smoking / no pets allowed property so it would be appreciated if this was respected at all times. Kayaks have recently been purchased and can be used providing they are looked after. All I ask is that they are not dragged, the need to be carried across the road to the water.
