Designed for absolute privacy on the outskirts of the tranquil and quiet fishing village of Zavalatica, many celebrities have already spent their holidays here or used the villa as a film set. Halfway between the capital Korcula and the port town of Vela Luka with all its gastronomic delights, regional wines and cultural experiences, you can relax in Villa Sofia with an unforgettable sea view. From the courtyard, where you can park two large cars and one small car, you have access to the 8 bicycles that we provide free of charge. A few steps take you to the top floor of the villa, where there are two spacious rooms of approx. 50m2 each. They are equipped with a king-size bed (180x200cm), a glass-enclosed bathroom area with a bath, shower, toilet and a large washbasin. Each room has access to the large balcony with a relaxation area to enjoy the breathtaking sea view. In addition, each room has a flat screen TV with international satellite channels, a desk, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and reversible air conditioning hot/cold. In one of the rooms you will find a sofa bed (140x190cm) with a coffee table and in the other room you will find a couch and a coffee table. Each room has its own access from the courtyard. Going down a few steps gives you access to the middle floor. This consists of a bedroom with a wardrobe, a flat screen TV with international satellite channels, a king-size bed (180x200cm), reversible air conditioning warm/cold, two armchairs. There is a separate bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. On the same floor you will find a huge living room with two large sofas, a large coffee table, a large flat screen TV with international satellite channels and DVD player, two reversible air conditioning units hot/cold. The living room opens onto the large terrace with two large French doors and is open plan to the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with two American fridges (fridge/freezer/ice dispenser), an oven, a dishwasher, a ceramic hob, an extractor hood, a coffee maker, a toaster, an orange squeezer, a kettle, crockery for 12 people and all accessories, needed to prepare an excellent meal. From the kitchen you also have access to the huge 110m² terrace. The patio is partially covered, with 3 ceiling fans so you can enjoy your meals in the shade. There is also a large Jacuzzi for 6 people, 2 sun loungers and a large wooden table for 12 guests. From the terrace you have an incredibly beautiful view of the sea. Access to the lower floor is either from the middle terrace or from the courtyard via the external staircase. There you will find a fully covered porch with two fitness machines and a relaxation area. You have individual access to each bedroom of approx. 30m². In the spacious bathroom you will find a large shower, a bidet, a toilet and two sinks. The 50m3 private infinity pool is located at the bottom of the veranda. It has 2 water fountains, a counter-current system and the depth varies between 1.40 and 1.70 meters. Around the pool you will find 10 sun loungers, parasols, an outdoor relaxation area with outdoor furniture, a large courtyard where you can play with the children at the foot of the olive grove. From this courtyard you can go down directly to the sea via a private staircase. There are 2 kayaks with paddles and safety vests available The villa is absolutely perfect for two to three families or a group of friends. At the back of the house there is another terrace with BBQ, complemented by a plantation on the slope downhill. All entrances to the various floors can be reached via external stairs. All linen including pillowcases are provided, as well as bath, shower, pool and jacuzzi towels. From every point of the house the view is exceptional! You'll want to stay here forever. The Villa Sofia is in a unique and particularly beautiful location on the outskirts. It is approx. 500 m to the next mini market with a bakery (open mostly all year round, 7 days a week), approx. 400 m to the next grill tavern (open seasonally from May to September) and approx. 650 m to the pizzeria/grill in the Harbor (Open seasonally). We can offer you excursions to the neighboring islands Lastovo, Osjak, Vis by boat. We are also at your complete disposal to organize copious meals with table service at the villa, wine and olive oil tastings.
