"Die Daniel" is the smallest of the three vacation apartments in our house "Das Wetterstein". Nevertheless, it offers enough space for up to 6 people. "Das Wetterstein" is located directly at the foothills of the Zugspitze and yet centrally located in the middle of the idyllic Tyrolean village of Ehrwald. A house with history, tradition and time-honored charm, in which the first guests were already received in 1860. "Die Daniel" is a comfortably furnished apartment with about 75sqm and provides a special ambience with natural materials such as spruce wood. Carefully and lovingly furnished, it conveys a feeling of security and warmth. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor "of the Wetterstein". "The Daniel" has a well-equipped kitchen with electric stove including oven, extractor fan, dishwasher, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine and microwave. To guarantee exquisite coffee enjoyment even on vacation, there is also a Nespresso coffee machine and a Nespresso milk frother. Thus, nothing stands in the way of communal cooking and sociable evenings. From the kitchen there is also access to the balcony on the west side. Here you have directly in front of you the summit of the 2,340-meter-high "Daniels", from which the apartment got its name. It is also wonderful to watch the sunset and then look up at the fabulously clear starry sky. Since it is our special concern to make our guests' stay as carefree and relaxed as possible, we have also provided the kitchen with the most important cleaning supplies and dish towels. In the cozy living room there is the dining table, a sofa bed, TV and access to the sunny south-facing balcony with a magnificent view of the 2,417-meter-high Sonnenspitze. The large bathroom has a bathtub/shower and WC. If you want to do your laundry, you are welcome to use the washing machine and dryer in our laundry room on the ground floor at any time. Detergent, iron and ironing board are also available for you. To save you unnecessary luggage, bed linen and towels are also available, as well as a starting toilet paper. You want to relax after a wonderful day in the snow? Then do so and relax in our spacious sauna with lounging area on the ground floor. Also included are parking spaces directly in front of or next to the house, WLAN, SAT-TV, a storage room for bicycles incl. 5 charging stations for e-bikes and a ski storage room with ski boot heating. A special highlight is the electronic access system. Guests receive a code instead of a key with which access to the entrance gate of the Wetterstein as well as to the apartment is possible. For our guests there is also free admission to the family pool / indoor adventure pool Ehrwald, the artificial ice rink (only in winter) and the climbing hall Ehrwald. All of this can be reached on foot in a very short time or is virtually directly opposite on the other side of the street. Our apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes in beautiful nature, for mountain biking, for a round of golf at the fantastically located 9-hole golf course, for swimming, climbing, horseback riding, playing (outdoor and indoor) and much more. We personally think that for example the waterfall trail in Ehrwald, Mosles Explorer Trail and Mosles Magic Forest in Lermoos are always worth a visit. You will certainly also have fun tobogganing on the summer toboggan run and riding the monster scooter in the neighboring village of Biberwier. The 23 kilometers of slopes of the ski area Ehrwalder Wettersteinbahnen are only about 1 km away from our house. Apart from skiing, the Tyrolean Zugspitzarena has of course much more to offer its guests in winter. Not only kilometers of cross-country skiing trails, snowshoeing, ice skating, tobogganing, igloo-building workshops, torchlight hikes and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides make hearts beat faster, but also the culinary delights in one of the numerous, rustic huts. Enjoy fantastic Tyrolean cuisine and let yourself be enchanted by the winter landscape. Absolutely recommendable are also the numerous high-altitude hiking trails around Ehrwald and Lermoos.
