For larger purchases, there is a Lidl (3 km) and gas station in the neighboring village of Öhningen. The region is well known and popular for cycling trails. Distances to Zurich / Konstanz, each about 40 minutes by car. On the weekend 20.7. - 21.7. and 26. - 28.7., the traditional beach festivals take place, which are approximately 50 meters from the apartment. The Swiss border is only about 5 km away. The tourist tax per person and day of stay is €1.70 in the high season and €1.20 in the low season. The day of arrival and the day of departure are counted together as one day of stay. Children up to the age of 15 are exempt from the tourist tax.
