Churchdown is a beautiful large Victorian family home in Chippenham – a perfect location for exploring the wonderful Wiltshire towns, villages and countryside. Handy for Bath, Castle Combe, Lacock, Avebury and Stonehenge. Great base for Badminton Horse Trials The space This is our home in the country, where we lived permanently for many years, and still spend many weekends and holidays, so you will find it set up as a true home-from-home. The three double bedrooms and one twin bedroom are all spacious. The main bedroom and en-suite bathroom have been newly refurbished (no photo yet), with a 6 ft wide four poster bed, cast iron bath and separate shower, and travertine tiling throughout the bathroom. The other two double bedrooms each have King sized beds, while the last has twin beds. The dining room and three separate sitting/living rooms and large garden let you and your party relax together or get away from each other. There is plenty to do in the house - lots of books, board games, puzzles, and TV with Sky, DVD and video player. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need - Aga plus separate oven and hob; loads of pots, pans, roasting tins and utensils; two good size fridge/freezers; dishwasher; nespresso machine and filter coffee machine; separate utility area with second sink and washing machine. We'll leave a loaf of home-made bread, some milk, and there will be sugar, salt pepper, herbs and spices etc. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the whole house and garden for the period of your stay - you will be renting a home rather than staying in a bed-and-breakfast.
