Studio on a Historic Porto Courtyard

A designer studio on a traditional ‘island’ in Porto, where tourism preserves the place rather than replacing it. Reclaimed materials — OSB panels, concrete and a headboard made from vintage doors — create a stay with character, just minutes from the city centre and the metro. The space A signature studio, designed for those who appreciate spaces steeped in history. The headboard is made from restored antique doors; the walls combine OSB and concrete, creating a cosy, rustic-modern feel. It features a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with a hydromassage shower. It is set within a Porto ‘Island’ — a micro-community where guests from all over the world mingle with long-standing residents. It shares a lush garden with a vegetable patch, barbecue, seasonal hot tub and outdoor leisure areas. Guest access Guests have private and exclusive access to their studio. The real highlight is the wonderful shared outdoor space, a true urban oasis. Shared access includes: • Lawn garden, several furnished patios, barbecue and an urban vegetable garden. • Outdoor jacuzzi: €15 per one hour session, up to 3 guests from the same house. Book at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. Open from 1 May to 30 September. After that date, opening depends on the weather: please check the Ruby Charm Houses app to see if it is open. • Shared laundry: Monday to Saturday, from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 19:30 (closed on Sundays). Wash and dry €4, wash only €3, dry only €1.50. Keys at reception, maximum load 9 kg. Other things to note Check-in: from 15:00 to 00:00. Between 00:00 and 02:00 we wait at no extra cost in case of flight delays, as long as your arrival time has been arranged with us. Late check-in, after 02:00: €40, on prior request through Airbnb messages. Check-out: from 08:00 to 11:00. Flexible times, subject to availability: early check-in from 11:30 to 15:00, €40; late check-out from 11:30 to 14:30, €40. Arrival time: please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance. Documents: photo ID and a credit card at check-in. Security deposit: €200 on arrival, by credit card, fully refundable at check-out after the house has been checked.
