Feixe Farm is a 6 ha property that consists of 2 independent country houses with private pool and stables that accommodate 6 lusitano horses It is part of a unique forest of sycamore, chestnut and oak trees, and crossed by a stream of clear waters. The space THE FARM Feixe Farm is a century-old estate built in 1882. It is about 6 ha, located in Lugar do Feixe (Basto-Santa Tecla) in Celorico de Basto. It is part of a unique forest of sycamore, chestnut and oak trees, and crossed by a stream of clear waters. It consists of two totally independent cottages each with its own private pool and well spaced to ensure privacy and a different ambience and livebility. The originality of the architecture of each house is well integrated in the landscape, with full respect for the surrounding nature. Each of them is decorated in an elegant, functional and comfortable manner, for maximum comfort and well being at any season. Thoroughbred Lusitanian horses are the great passion and the reason for the existence of this property. Here we breed, teach and practice traditional Portuguese riding with Lusitanian horses, considered the world's best saddle horses, whether in classical riding exercises or simply to enjoy a stroll in the farm or in the surrounding forest. FIG TREE HOUSE (GUEST HOUSE) The former caretaker's house,completely rebuilt and renewed, a 150 sq. meter abode, consists of 2 suite bedrooms, large common room with fireplace and kitchen, plus a comfortable and cozy mezzanine. It is fully equipped with appliances, satellite TV,internet and heating. It accommodates 4/6 people. The house is dominated by a secular fig tree. The living room has access to a large terrace overlooking the private pool and surrounding lawn. THE HORSES Here we breed, teach and practice traditional Portuguese pure blood Lusitanian riding horses, and we are equipped with all necessary infrastructures, so you can take advantage of the world’s best saddle horses in classical riding exercises or simply trot in complete tranquility in the surrounding nature. Individual lessons and internships in Portuguese horsemanship and riding are available.
