Villa Destina is a comfortable holiday villa (max 8 pers) in Begur, a historic town on the Spanish Costa Brava near Girona and Barcelona. Located at the only stretch of coast without high-rise buildings. The villa is only a few kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea, is detached and quietly located. The spacious sunny (SW) garden around the villa is 1200 m² (a lot of privacy), private swimming pool (8x4m), outdoor shower, patio and outdoor kitchen (BBQ, cooker, fridge) and table tennis table. The space Villa Destina has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have 2 single beds (90x200 cm) that you can slide apart. The 3rd bedroom has 2 bunk beds (80x200 cm). The cottage on the property by the pool can be rented with the villa and offers 2 sleeping places (2 single beds) and a bathroom, making Villa Destina very suitable for two families. From 2024, this is a stone cottage with bathroom. This cottage can only be rented with the villa and not separately. The rental price is €395 per week extra, + €65 final cleaning fee. There is 1 bathroom with toilet/shower and a separate toilet in the villa. Outside, opposite the extra house, there is another wooden house with toilet/sink and washing machine. There is air conditioning in the living room, as well as in all bedrooms. Besides all kitchen utensils, there is an electric cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster and a spacious fridge. At the spacious terrace is the swimming pool (at the stairs a depth of 90 cm to depth of 160 cm). There is an outdoor shower by the pool. Due to the location of the south-west swimming pool, the water is quickly at a pleasant temperature. There are sunbeds around the pool, but it is also lovely to stay in the shade under the patio at the outdoor kitchen. The outdoor kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge freezer and a fixed BBQ. Towels (1 piece per persoon per week) are included in the rental rate. In and around our holiday villa you can be online all day of you want with free Wi-Fi (even at the pool). The surroundings of Begur are not called the Spanish Riviera for nothing. No high flats but quiet hills, a whimsical coast, little bays and ancient Romanesque villages. The most beautiful golf courses in Europe, beautiful nature and small, clean beaches. The walks along the coast (Camins de Ronda) are one of Begur's most important and famous attractions. Begur beaches can be rented by boat, organized excursions by boat or kayaking. Around Begur there are also some beautiful diving spots. Like the Medas islands, a nature reserve that is strictly protected. Starting from Begur, 35 golf courses can be reached within 50 minutes. The nearest job is in Platja de Pals, a few kilometers from Begur. The mild climate in Begur is ideal for cycling throughout the year. Baix Empordà has an extensive network of rural roads far from the main roads. In the interior you cycle over hilly roads with often beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. The surroundings of Begur are known for its rugged coast and beautiful beaches. The Pals Beach is 3.5 km long and hence the largest and offers a great view on the Medas Islands. Smaller beaches, picturesque bays are Llafranc, Tamariu, Aiguablava, Fornells, Platja Fonda, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera and Illa Roja and Llafranc. Around Begur are historic villages such as Pals, Peratallada, Ullastret and the city of ceramics, La Bisbal d'Empordà.
