Relax with a movie or binge-watch your favorite series on our large flat-screen TV, whether it's a scorching hot or rainy day. We've created a calming space that encourages you to cozy up, laze around, and lounge to your heart's content. For those who need to stay connected, we have a dedicated workspace with access to WiFi. The modern bathroom features a full-size setup with a large rain shower head and a handheld shower to help start your day refreshed. Sink into the luxurious comfort of our king-size ‘Bed of Dreams,’ adorned with buttery soft linens and oversized plush pillows. Wake up to the sounds of birds visiting our lush backyard garden or close the shutters and enjoy a leisurely morning in bed. Another large flat-screen TV is available for your Netflix fix. A full laundry, hidden behind a handmade, recycled timber sliding barn door, includes a front loader washing machine and a heat pump dryer for your convenience. Step outside your sliding door to access our private 10-meter saltwater swimming pool, where you can splash away the hours. In the cooler winter months (July & August), our pool heating takes a break — but if you're game, it’s the perfect ice bath wake-up call! Your deck is the perfect spot to start your day with morning sun and hot coffee or end your night relaxing under the stars. Sing along to your favourite music on the Alexa speaker, light some candles, pour some wine, and lose track of time. For a unique experience, try our exclusive ESCAPE GAME inside the guesthouse—sit back with a glass of wine and see if you can save humanity! Just let us know if you want to play. Guest access You will have the entire guest house for yourselves. Access to our heated pool and side verandah with bbq facilities. Close to beaches, shops and recreational activities. We have also added our unique Escape Game which if you choose to play we will send you details. You can try and save the world :) Other things to note The Location - Centrally located along Salamander Way, you can access beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants. A 20 minute walk brings you to Wanda Beach, a picturesque spot with calm waters for swimming (tidal)or a 3 minute drive. You can walk around the Wanda Headland along a gravel pathway offering seats to stop and soak up the magnificent views . The Wanda Beach Shops offers a selection of restaurants, takeaways, coffee shop, convenience store, butcher, bakery, chemist, post office and bottle shop. For more of your shopping needs, visit the main Salamander Shopping Centre (2km away) where you will find Woolies, Coles, Aldi and speciality clothing shops. If you are a keen golfer then the Horizons Golf Course is only 550m down the road. The Rick Stein Restaurant at the Bannisters Resort is just a quick 6 minute drive with multiple dining options and opposite Bannisters is the Soldiers Point Bowling Club which offers affordable meals. The main township of Nelson Bay is 7.4km away (10 minutes) with loads of activities available ie, whale watching, bike hires, Tea Gardens Ferry, lovely restaurants such as Atmos (Greek) at Shoal Bay and Little Beach Boat House in Nelson Bay and so much more.
