Conveniently located in a quiet street in Snowmass Village area just a 10 minute walk to Ohakune Town Centre and only a short stroll to the iconic Carrot Adventure Park featuring a wonderful new bike pump track, obstacle course and river walkway. Hire bikes from the local bike shop and hit the local mountain bike tracks. 30 Minutes by car to Turoa Ski field or 45 minutes to Whakapapa Ski Field. 35 minutes to the start of the Tongariro Crossing - with Shuttle Services to and from. In a quiet cul-de-sac, overlooking trees and paddocks to the back, Redrock Hut offers all the comforts of home in a compact, cosy, clean, fully furnished, rustic cabin. Redrock sleeps 7 guests, 6 adults max in three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bunk room is small, so more suited to children but can accommodate adults on the bottom bunks if required. Quality linen and towels provided with every booking. There's enough toxic overload in our lives - you don't need it on holiday! We try to only use eco friendly and toxin-free cleaning products so you can feel cleansed and restored staying with us. Although compact a full sized kitchen and laundry/drying room offer all the amenities a family needs for their winter or summer mountain adventures. We provide a locked shed to keep your bikes/ski gear stored safely. Large kitchen table to accommodate those family meals and doubles as a great workspace. After a day on the slopes, bike or trails, this is a magical place to unwind with a glass of wine and reflect on the days adventures or play some board games and create memories. In the evening enjoy a movie on Chromecast or visit one of the many wonderful local restaurants and bars in Ohakune Township.
