We have a private pool (heating available) and a hot tub located on the upper deck to enjoy & relax under the stars. Our community is called The Villages at Ocean Hill and provides oceanfront and sound-side pools, a fitness center, a PICKLEBALL court, playground, basketball, sand volleyball and tennis courts. We are located east of route 12 north, just before the access ramp onto the 4x4 beaches. Note: Anyone with a 4WD vehicle can drive up the beach. If you’d like to park/tailgate on the beach for the day you can purchase daily or weekly passes at the Corolla Visitor Center or online. For 2024 , our private heated pool is open and available from March 31 to November 2. We set temperature at 85° in April, May, September, and October. The ambient temperature affects the overall temperature. The cost of pool heat is built into the rates. House details: Ground Level: Carport, enclosed outdoor shower, park grill, private heated pool, 10 x 19 kennel area. Security cameras, that record audio and video, located in the carport facing the street for safety. Mid-level: Main entrance, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, laundry area. There is the ability to create 2 primary king bedrooms and the queen and bunk rooms would then use the hall bath. Top-level: Living area with TV, ships watch, deck with ocean/sound/lighthouse views, kitchen, dining area, 1 half-bath, screened porch, hot tub on top level deck. WIFI is provided, and all televisions are equipped for streaming and there is a Golden Dunes Netflix account. The kitchen is well-equipped, with new appliances and most everything you might want to prepare fun family meals after the beach. Linens and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. This house is owner-managed with regular improvements and updates. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any additional questions. The entire home is available for use, excluding the owner's closets in bunk room, hall and utility room on ground floor. I live near Annapolis, Maryland, but will be accessible via Airbnb app email / text during your stay. If an issue arises that needs addressed, I have contracts with local maintenance and cleaning companies. From Golden Dunes you can easily walk to an ice cream shop, wild horse tours, convenience store, The Beer Garden, Corolla Adventure Park and more. You are also only minutes away from the 4x4 beaches where you may see wild horses. Corolla is off the beaten path and accessing Corolla requires a car or a long, expensive cab / Uber from Norfolk International Airport. Should you want to drive on the Northern Beaches a 4x4 is required. Uber and Corolla Cab are also available for transport around town, if you desire. VOH has an active Neighborhood Watch program to help create a safe environment.
