Welcome to Maple Acres, a home nestled in a picturesque setting surrounded by tall maple trees. Just a driving distance away from two charming towns, this home and location offer a great spot to explore, unwind, and create memories with your family and friends. The space Immerse yourself in nature as you wander through the property covered in large maples and beautiful flowers. The foliage of the maples creates a shaded backdrop during the summer months and is beautiful during the fall months as the leaves are changing. During the winter months grab a blanket, a good book, and a cup of hot cocoa and snuggle up to the indoor gas fireplace or play one of the numerous board games provided. You will find entertainment at the home such as board games, outdoor games, books, and TV. Children can explore and create their own adventures in the playhouse, while the playscape and tire swing offer endless fun and laughter. Bring your bikes and use the bike/walking path a mile from the home to travel to Holland or Saugatuck and grab ice cream on a hot summer day. Two fishing and kayak-accessible lakes are 1-2 miles from the home. This family-friendly home is located in a quiet rural residential setting south of Holland and north of Saugatuck, but only a short drive to either downtown (6 miles or about a 10-12 minute drive). The home is also close to many local township parks and beach access areas (2-4 miles for several). HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY Sleeping: The home is two stories with sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests, including infants. Winter: During the late fall and winter months, we keep the driveway plowed, walkways shoveled, and use ice melt when needed. There is also a snow shovel and ice melt at the home for guest use during your stay if needed. Guests may not access any other buildings or the tree house on the property. There is a vernal pond on the property that is partially fenced and only retains water in the spring through the end of June. Other things to note We are located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Only registered guests are allowed on the property at all times unless approved by host. A maximum of 6 guests total (registered and visiting) on property at all times. Unauthorized off-site guests, unregistered overnight guests, and pets will result in immediate reservation cancellation and extra fees incurred. The host lives next door. Cleanliness and sanitation are important to us. We follow an enhanced cleaning process throughout the home which also includes washing and disinfecting of all parts of the bedding (throw pillows, comforters, etc) after each guest. We also provide cleaning supplies for guest use if needed. Tampering with the router, Wi-Fi, and/or outdoor security cameras will result in immediate cancelation of your reservation. Pets are not allowed. Quiet time is from 10pm-7am per township ordinance. No smoking of any kind on the premises inside or out No parties, events, or gatherings No fireworks or candles on the premises No tents, campers, RVs, etc allowed on the property per ordinance. We are located in a country setting on a wooded lot. You may encounter bugs and wildlife. No refunds will be given for these encounters.
