This beautiful Country Home is conveniently located halfway between Nashville and Memphis. Only 10 miles from Highway 40. Wake up to a beautiful symphony of singing birds every morning and enjoy the diversity of flora and fauna on the property and the surrounding Natchez Trace's State Forest where you will find many hiking trails, fishing and swimming lakes. In the evening, don't miss the magical lighting bugs (fireflies), which illuminate the entire surroundings. The property is just 1.5 hours away from Nashville and 2 hours away from Memphis. The home has been specially furnished with a mix of vintage and mid century modern furniture to provide a comfortable stay.. The living room offers plenty of sitting space to relax with a TV for your Netflix, Ruku, Amazon. The bedrooms have comfy beds with cozy bedding. Kitchen is fully equipped with non stick cooking pots and pans and some complimentary food items: spices, coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar. Guests to make sure to go grocery shopping prior arrival. A great place to shop for some groceries is located at: 3339 Highway 22. Clarksburg, TN Guests will be provided a self entry code on arrival date. Guests will be provided with a one time unique code that will be available only to them during their stay no later than 3pm on arrival date. 1)The Natchez Trace State Park is named for the famous "Natchez to Nashville" highway, an important wilderness road during the early 18th century. Over 23 miles of hiking trails are located within the Natchez Trace. Trails range from an easy 1 mile nature walk to a 14 mile overnight trail. In addition, the park is home to four Lakes, which has a swimming areas, canoes, kayaks and paddle boats are available for rent between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Pin Oak Lake offers boating, fishing, picnicking and swimming. Browns Lake and Maples Lake are for fishing only. Jon boats are available on a first-come first-serve basis. A museum and nature center are located at the visitor centers. Exhibits about local history, park history and natural world are on display. 2) Within a 20 min drive from the property, you will also find The Carroll County 1000 Acre Recreational Lake, which it is the largest man-made lake in West Tennessee. With more than 22 miles of shoreline, the lake holds more than 17,000 acre-feet of water, 75% of which has a water level of at least 20 feet. The gate is open from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. The beaches are open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The headquarters, boat ramp, beaches, picnic tables, pavilion, restrooms, and concessions are located in the park area on the northeast side of the lake. 3) Southland Safari. Within a 5 minute drive you will find a journey allowing you to experience the many wonders of the wild including animals from Africa, Asia, and Australia.
