Farmhouse Cottage

The Farmhouse Cottage is an annex of the main farmhouse and a perfect space for couples. It has no catering facilities. Located on the Garlic Farm with onsite restaurant and farm shop. Great location for exploring the Island on foot, bicycle or car. The space Farmhouse Cottage is a private annex with spacious bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. The bedroom opens out onto a private garden with patio to enjoy the evening sun. There is a large bathroom with bath and walk in shower. The sitting room is made wonderfully cosy with a wood burning stove. We can provide a fold out bed for this property so it can sleep up to 3. This property has no kitchen or dining facilities. Our onsite restaurant is open everyday for breakfast 9am - 11am and lunch 12-3pm. Our local pub, The Pointer Inn in Newchurch is a 2 minute drive or 20 minute walk. Please check opening times on their website. The cottage is located on the Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight, nestled at the foot of the Downs in the Arreton Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Guests enjoy the farm shop and restaurant as well access to the games room, tennis court, football pitch and all the beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside. Peacocks, red squirrels and chickens roam freely around the farm with highland cattle and horses in the surrounding fields. The farm is ideally located for exploring the Island on foot or bicycle lying at the hub of miles of cycleways and footpaths for which the Island is famous. Beaches are no more than 10 minutes by car. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the farm and surrounding areas. The cottage itself is a self contained property with no shared spaces. Other things to note Please do not turn into 1 and 2 Mersley Cottages, they are private properties and unrelated to The Garlic Farm.
