XBS 2162 was originally a first class carriage that journeyed from Sydney to regional NSW and is now nestled on top of a hill overlooking rolling hills and nearby wineries. This 1935 wood panelled carriage is divided into 2 units by an inter connecting door, each self contained with its own entry. Minimum 2 night stay . Breakfast included.a The space The carriage comprises two comfortable double beds, two bathrooms, kitchen/dining room equipped with a full sized fridge, stove, oven, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The original train seating and additional sitting area equipped with DVD/video library, magazines, and board games to keep you entertained as well as some vintage Australian posters to look at. There is also a swimming pool and tennis court available for our guests to use. In the warmer months the train has air conditioning and windows that open to provide a nice through breeze. The surrounding area is ideal for watching the ever changing sunsets, having a BBQ, watching the wildlife, admiring the stunning views of the nearby ranges, or just enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside.
