Moreton Island Beach house at Bulwer ‘Mister Barge

This holiday beach house is very basic, but has all the essentials you will need. If you like being at one with nature and having a peaceful, natural break or stay for a longer time. There are no bitumen roads on the island except for sand, so you will need a 4wd or arrangements can be made for you to be picked up and taken back to the barge. It is a 30 second walk to a wonderful, beautiful beach through an open track. 5 min walk to shop. This shack is very simple,but easy Great for families. The space Power is of a minimum on the island. But this property has a good power source, more than most, with solar panel and a back up generator. We don't recommend hair straighteners and blow dryers or any excess power usage. There is one kitchen, 2 toilets and one shower. There is also an outdoor shower. A very large back yard, and a fire pit out the front. Other things to note The water from the taps is bore water, and there is a tank with fresh drinking water that is for use. There is also a washing machine. You can bring your own linen, or it can be supplied for you at an additional cost. This will include sheets, towels, hand towels, bathmats, soap dispenser and T towels.
