The Cortijo del Pino is an accommodation in an authentic 19th-century Andalusian farmhouse located in the Granada valley, three km from the city. It houses four apartments of different capacities: Atrojes, Cuadra, Tinao and Torreón, distributed in the old agricultural units of the farmhouse. The Torreón house is culminating in the building. A bright duplex with a kitchen, private terrace, and excellent views. It is located on the second floor and there is no elevator. The space The Cortijo del Pino is a large agrarian building from the late 19th century restored to offer four independent accommodations distributed in old agricultural units, in addition to the family home and other spaces for agricultural activity. The building is structured on two floors around a central patio of stone columns, a tower with palomar, aljibe and outbuildings for agricultural use. The entire building is surrounded by gardens with abundant vegetation: wisteria, linden trees, palm trees, laurels, cypresses... and on the south facade, an orange grove, the pool and the solarium. The building's renovation has preserved the building's structure, recovering most of the original construction elements: carpentry, flooring, and even fixtures and furniture in a cozy and highly authentic atmosphere. In addition to tourist use, Cortijo del Pino maintains its agricultural activity, with two hectares of organic fruits (apples, perals, plums, apricots...). Its staggered production throughout the summer goes to local consumer groups and specialty shops in the city. Its location makes it possible to enjoy all the city's cultural offerings, while staying in a traditional building with the characteristic architecture of the Vega de Granada. Very close to the city while far from the bustling urban activity. The Torreón house occupies the highest part of the Cortijo del Pino that was formerly used as a fruit dryer and dovecote. It is structured as a duplex. On the lower floor is the kitchen and the living room from which a wooden staircase leads to the upper floor. Upstairs, with a sloping ceiling, are the bedroom and bathroom. It also has a private terrace with outdoor furniture with excellent views of the Vega de Granada and Sierra Nevada. The pellet stove to heat the living room in winter is a great incentive. Guest access ➜ Outdoor salt chlorination pool (6 m x 12 m). Other things to note Our location does not have public transportation. To get there without a car from the bus or train station, you can take a taxi or Uber at a cost of about 15 euros. To access downtown Granada, you can use this service again or use our bicycles (on loan to our customers). A free service, always subject to availability. *Rules of coexistence and use of the accommodation - The number of guests must match the number set for each listing. - No pets are allowed in any of the facilities. -Listening to music outside the accommodation is not allowed, except with the use of headphones, to maintain the tranquility of the environment and respect for other guests. -For safety and fire prevention reasons, the use of a barbecue is not allowed. - Spaces are not organized or assigned for holding celebrations.
