Other things to note ARRIVAL BY CAR: The special traffic regime zone around the historic core of Dubrovnik began on June 2, 2025. With this latest measure, the City of Dubrovnik is seeking to reduce traffic jams on the roads and permanently solve the problem of traffic congestion. The zone covers the entire area around the historic core, from Ilijina glavica, through Zagrebačka ulica to Viktorija, through Pile to Boninovo.
