A 10 minute walk away from the heart of town, yet away from busy roads, Cartref House is the perfect space to stay in for your Queenstown getaway! 150m from start of the Ben Lomond track, this home is a combo of being close to the fun of Queenstown centre and the peacefulness of bush walks, you can wake to the sound of bird song before heading off into the adventure capital of New Zealand. Our fully equipped kitchen means you can have the choice of dining at home or eating out. The space Our house is a fully refurbished retro bach with all mod cons. Centrally heated so that it's warm and cosy in winter and with aircon for the summer, our house sleeps 12 and is perfect for all size groups whether you're a couple or two families. Our fully equipped kitchen - pots, pans, plates and platters - means you can have the choice of dining at home or eating out in one of the many amazing restaurants here in Queenstown. This is our holiday home and it is set up for you to enjoy and holiday too, please use the tea and coffee, salt pepper, oil etc in the kitchen cupboard. Guests (and pets) of all ages are very welcome, there is ramp access to upstairs and a travel cot and high chair are available. Please mention before your stay if you want to use the cot or high chair and we'll have them ready for your arrival. There is free off street parking for 3 cars and our driveway fits larger vehicles, vans, camper vans etc We are a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the Wharf (Real Journeys) and 14 minutes (4 minutes drive) from the bottom of the Mall. Taxis cost between $7-$15. Please note: We are not a venue, and no parties or loud gatherings are permitted. Please do not book our house for this purpose. We have security cameras operating which can also monitor noise as part of our neighbour responsibilities and requirements. Guest access Guests have access to all the house, currently the garage is used for our storage and is locked. Other things to note The TV is linked to our Apple TV you are welcome to use your Netflix and Spotify. To use the oven, turn the middle dial left to the "On" position before selecting the propeller symbol and then the temperature required. Please respect our neighbours, and keep the noise down (and inside) after 10pm. Absolutely no parties. We have security cameras outside which can also monitor guest numbers and noise as part of our neighbour responsibilities. The driveway parking is suitable for larger vehicles, vans, camper vans etc
