Pop open my complimentary bottle of fizz, relax in your own private hot tub and then chill in front of the log burning stove. Elegant and modern the Cwtch is in close proximity to the River Usk & Monmouthshire/Brecon Canal. Neighbouring market towns include Abergavenny, Crickhowell, Monmouth & Usk. The space The Cwtch has been recently renovated and is an addition to the 2 exisitng cottages at Pen-y-Worlod holiday cottages Now a modern, elegant and stylish space, the Cwtch is situated underneath the Blorenge mountain, and a few feet away from the Llanfoist to Brynmawr Railway Path, there are endless choices for walks nearby. The cottage is detached, with private driveway, parking and entrance. Providing you that perfect private retreat, with private hot tube and garden Downstairs the cottage has a large living room with plentiful seating and a wood burning stove. The kitchen hosts a large island with lush breakfast stools which creates the perfect social dining experience. There is also a luxurious white leather sofa in the kitchen for you to enjoy and relax. The Cwtch offers 2 bedrooms. The first floor bedroom is the master bedroom with a super king bed, and chaise lounge. The second bedroom situated on the ground floor, with double bed and flat screen TV. Both bedrooms are able to accommodate a travel cot. In addition if needed a small child's bed can be made available for your stay (estimated age 2-6). The generous bathroom is on the first floor and provides a large modern walk in shower with toilet, sink and bathroom storage. There is a second ensuite shower in bedroom number 2 which has a large walk in shower and is very spacious with 2 towel rails and is a lovely modern space On arrival I will provide a complimentary bottle of wine/prosecco and welsh cakes to give you the perfect start your stay. Tea, coffee and other necessities are available including milk. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is something in particular you require e.g., birthday/anniversary decorations or if there is more about the area you would like to know before you book your trip. The Cwtch is the perfect place for you to set down your routes for a holiday of exploring, whether you venture into the Brecon Beacons, climb the local mountains (Blorenge, Sugarloaf, Skirrid, Table Top), walk the old railway line that runs alongside the cottage or explore the local towns - there is lots to do. The Cwtch offers you that modern, stylish, elegant space where you can relax and make yourself at home. The cottage offers all the amenities to allow you to cook including plenty of cupboard space, fridge, freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and utensils. If you don't want to cook I would be more than willing to recommend local restaurants including the local Indian Restaurant in the village. The Market town Abergavenny is approximately a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) away and offers lots of lovely pubs, restaurants, shops and an independent cinema. Abergavenny also has a castle and museum which can be visited. The Cwtch is a short distance from the town Blaenavon which is home to Big Pitt, this was once a working coal mine which is open to visitors. There is a supermarket (Waitrose) in the town of Llanfoist or further into Abergavenny there are more options (Aldi, Iceland, Tesco, Morrisons). The Cwtch is perfect for couples, friends, families, small groups and business trips. The Cwtch is one of three cottages (Sugarloaf Cottage and Skirrid Cottage) and I am happy to take group bookings. Using all three cottages I can host a party of 8. Please make an enquiry and I can ensure all cottages can be booked at the same time. ** Please note there is no additional charge for facilities such as parking, use of washing machine & so forth however I do charge an additional cleaning cfee for pets, please enquire for details as this charge is dependent on number of pets and length of stay and there is an additional charge of £25 for hot tub clean which is per stay
