Description
Waterfront cottage to dream and relax The space We are very happy to welcome people in our small personal dream cottage "Tjørnehuset"! We find our cottage a dream for those who want a break, like peace and quiet for the soul, want to be thinking or creative or just want to take a breath. It is small (about 50 sqm in total), simply, surrounded by nature – especially hawthorn bushes (hence the name) and, as we find, beautiful. The sea and the Gendarmenwanderweg are a stone's throw away on an in-house path and can be seen from the house. Next door are pastures, animals, lots of trees and plants. By the fireplace you can make yourself comfortable – and there is everything you could ever need. Theoretically, there are 6 sleeping places in total. However, it is probably most suitable for couples (even with children) who may also get visitors overnight. The two main sleeping places offers a new king size bed in the bedroom (you can't see in the old picture of the bedroom that we will replace on occasion, sorry!). Please note that two more sleeping places are separate and a walk through the fresh air at these sleeping places is necessary for shower & toilet. In addition, two additional sleeping places can be temporarily provided by the sofa bed in the living room. Board games etc. and a large flat screen with pre-installed apps for YouTube, Prime and Netflix are provided - but currently no classic TV. In any case, additional entertainment should be brought with you for children. We love animals; due to the grazing animals in the immediate vicinity, however, we have decided with a heavy heart that pets are unfortunately not allowed to be brought. Unlike most Danish vacation homes, ours is lonely, not in a holiday settlement, which we love. For this, we are also very happy to accept the arrival via a forest path at the edge of the golf course, which normal vehicles should easily create, or alternatively a slightly longer footpath, especially on rainy days. You will be rewarded with absolute tranquility or sea noise and tree shredding. Attention: In case of heavy rain or snowfall, the house can be difficult to reach by car. Therefore, in the winter months, please check the weather forecast beforehand and enter "rinkenaes". The shortest path by car leads through a fenced area and parks right in the driveway in front of the house. If you don't want to drive through the premises, you can also use the parking space in front of the fenced-in grounds, but then take a walk of about 5 minutes along the sea to the house. We provide a collapsible buggy for transportation of heavy luggage. We'll send a detailed description to our guests in advance. We are looking forward to hosting you! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us in Guest access - Huge partly covered patio - Outdoor furniture - Rich high-quality cooking utensils - Quality Dish - fireplace - Weber Gas Grill - Books (Danish, German, English) - 30 Mbps internet connection - Flat screen TV with DVD player and YouTube and Netflix apps etc. - Tabletop Games - Private access to the sea and hiking trail - Small private forest and garden Other things to note In winter, the access roads to the house are very muddy in constant rain and snow. We send handbooks for the house with instructions that must be considered prior to arrival. The journey to total tranquility in the middle of nature is unfortunately sometimes more expensive in winter than in summer and can also include a longer footpath (5-10 minutes). Like other providers, we unfortunately have to charge electricity extra, since the consumption of our guests is very different, the prices have risen very much, and we cannot therefore include this in the flat rate. Therefore, we charge for electricity: €0.75 or 5.59 kr per kWh and charge this at the end of the rental period via airbnb. Furthermore, as is the case in Denmark, we ask that our guests bring firewood and firewoods themselves if you want to use our fireplace. However, the house also has modern radiators for electric heating, so for most guests the fireplace is more of an additional heat source.
