Both bedrooms feature ornamental fireplaces and ample closets. The bath room is complete with original claw foot tub and shower. The modern, galley style kitchen is equipped with dishes, cutlery, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, Keurig coffee maker, walk-in pantry and original built-in china cabinet. Just off the Kitchen is a large, well-appointed Dining Room that comfortably seats 6 people! The spacious, front porch is a great place to relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the view of the quaint, historic homes on the tree-lined street below! Guest access SUITE B is modern, private, spacious, safe and quiet and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable: large beds, PaknPlay on request, nice linens, (2) desk areas, fast WiFi and smart HDTV for accessing Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc. Other things to note UrPlace Augusta, Suite B is located just 2.5 miles from the world- famous Augusta National, home of The Masters golf tournament. It is also minutes away from Augusta University, Medical College of Georgia, University Hospital and Fort Gordon. Nearby Monte Sano Avenue, Surrey Center and Daniel Village provide specialty shopping, restaurants, beauty salons, nail salons, package shops, groceries, banks and pharmacies. The area is also fortunate to have Lake Thurmond and the Savannah River nearby, so water sports are abundant. You can rent a kayak, paddleboard or canoe and explore the Augusta Canal. At Phinizy Swamp Nature Center, you can go on a hike and look for wildlife. FATS is a great set of trails for mountain biking enthusiasts, trail runners and just the casual nature hike. The location is also convenient to main access thoroughfares and the city bus line is just a block away. Uber and Lyft also serve the Summerville area.
