Cross the unique private railroad-car bridge and settle into your own slice of riverfront paradise with unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and farmland. Inside, the newly remodeled kitchen opens to a warm and inviting living space featuring a futon, comfortable seating, and a smart TV. The main floor also includes an updated bathroom with a spacious modern shower. Upstairs (steep and custom architectural feature), the cozy loft bedroom offers a queen bed, dresser, and closet space. Watch your head in the log cabins A frame loft design. Step outside to enjoy private riverfront access, where you can fish, relax by the water, or simply unwind beneath the shade trees along the lawn. The peaceful front porch is the perfect place to sip your morning coffee while watching the sunrise or take in the evening alpenglow across the Continental Divide. A picnic table and propane grill are ready for outdoor meals and quiet evenings surrounded by nature. Perfect for a relaxing getaway filled with comfort, scenery, and the calming sounds of the river. Guest access Once you cross the bridge, the cabin will be on your right, and the entire acre on that side of the drive is yours to enjoy during your stay. The bridge includes a turn before the entrance and is approximately 8.5 feet wide, so trailers, RVs, and fifth wheels cannot safely access the property. Parking is available in the cabin driveway for up to three vehicles parked in a single row, with additional parking available in front of our shop if needed. The property features maintained lawns on two sides of the cabin, with natural landscaping surrounding the remaining areas to preserve the peaceful riverside setting. Guests have full access to the private cabin and grounds throughout their stay. Friendly dogs are welcome to roam off leash on the property. We also share the property with our very friendly 17-year-old senior dog, a cat, and a small flock of chickens that are securely fenced. Our animals may stop by to say hello and add to the relaxed, country atmosphere of your getaway. Other things to note Please note that all stairs in the cabin are steep, including the staircase leading to the loft sleeping area. The loft also features low ceilings, and there is a low-clearance section beneath the stairs on the main floor, so guests should use extra care when moving throughout the cabin. Well-socialized pets are always welcome to join you during your stay. Due to the size and layout of the private bridge entrance, trailers, fifth wheels, and RVs are not permitted on the property. Firewood for the outdoor fire pit is included with your stay and will be stacked and ready for you on the front porch, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing evening by the fire. There are many wonderful local attractions nearby, including several natural hot springs such as Goldbug Hot Springs and Sharkey Hot Springs. Outdoor enthusiasts will also enjoy Discovery Hill, a popular area for mountain biking, hiking, and off-leash dog adventures. Salmon also offers a variety of community amenities and activities, including a local golf course, community pool, dog park, arcade, bowling alley, and two breweries, movie theater, along with many locally owned shops, restaurants, and seasonal events to explore and enjoy. For groceries and supplies, two local options are Mountain Harvest Community Market and Safeway.
