Gardenview is a light and welcoming studio apartment with a spacious deck to eat, lounge, or just watch birds. Private entrance a few steps below our house in a quiet tree-filled neighborhood. kitchenette w hot plate, full bathroom, comfy queen bed, PC, drop-down table, books, games, cable TV, DVD’s. Walk to Sligo Creek, local shopping mall, grocery stores and bus for short ride to Metro to DC sites. Free and abundant street parking. 2 1/2 hours to Shenandoah and sites in PA, VA, and DE. The space Kitchenette includes: microwave, hot plate, sink, mini fridge with freezer, coffee maker and coffee, hand blender, plates, bowls, glasses, silverware and some snacks. Bathroom has soaker tub, shower, robes. Cable TV, books and games are all available. Gardenview has its own heater with thermostat. Summer AC connected to main house but basement stays very cool in the summer. Washer and drier are shared with owners in storage room adjacent to the apartment. Guest access Guests have the full downstairs space with a separate entrance. A screen provides privacy for the bed. There is an adjacent laundry and storage room that guests have access to and we will use only when guests are not in the apartment. Other things to note Must use city residential visitor parking permit while staying here. Permit will in Gardenview when you walk in the door.
