It is an old magnanerie (where the silkworms, the richness of the region, were transformed into a silk thread in the early 19th century). It is surrounded by walled land of approximately one hectare, planted with century-old trees and meadows.A fountain of rocky, now flowery, and old yops embellish the view from the house. The house was redone ten years ago with lots of antique materials. The kitchen, sanitary facilities, and living areas were refurbished in 2019-2020. The garden is equipped with a beautiful secure 4X10M swimming pool with a vast ash wood terrace, offering breathtaking views to Crest and its tower. With its beautiful antique furniture and comfortable sofas, the large 60 m² living room and the dining room are widely open towards the garden.The kitchen, refurbished, overlooks a small wood that you cross to reach the pool. You will find in the kitchen all the groceries and ingredients that will make you feel at home from day one. The two floors serve six large bedrooms (5 with a double bed and 1 with 4 single beds including 2 on the mezzanine), two shower rooms, a bathroom and three toilets. In winter you will enjoy the large fireplace, the PS4 and our numerous board games at your disposal.In summer, enjoy the hammock and meals under the woods, the gas plancha and the 3 bikes at your disposal. Several hikes on foot and mountain biking leave directly from the house. Slightly further, the extraordinary geological sites of Saoû and Vercors are a 20-minute drive away.
