5 Star fully renovated 18th Century former coachman's cottage, set in the grounds of historic Stranocum Hall. Close to the iconic Dark Hedges for Game of Thrones fans, and only 20 minutes to Portrush, Ballycastle, Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Whiskey Distillery, Ballintoy, the Glens and all the beauty of our fabulous North Antrim coast. 45 minutes from Belfast International Airport and 50 minutes to Belfast City. A tranquil setting in which to relax, after those beach trips or rounds of golf. The space Spacious and airy open plan living, dining and well equipped kitchen. Kitchen has a dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge with ample freezer compartment, microwave oven, induction hob and full-sized oven. Log burner in the living area. Each bedroom has its own ensuite and there is also a shower room on the ground floor. All bathrooms have heated towel rails and underfloor heating. The twin beds in the second bedroom can be made into a super-king - just let us know. Separate utility room with washer dryer, ironing facilities and space to hang out drying clothes. No need to bring bottled water as the entire mains water is fitted with a comprehensive in line filtration system. Toiletries are provided (body wash/shampoo, hand wash and body lotion). Outside, you have a private patio. The cottage is part of Stranocum Hall, which is our family home. Please message us if you require cots and other baby equipment. Guest access You will have the use of the entire of the living and utility space. There is a private area outside the back of the cottage accessible via the patio doors. There is space for 1 car, or 2 by arrangement with the owners. Other things to note Please let us know if you need baby equipment so we can ensure you have all that you need, to make your stay comfortable. If you are staying as a single guest, or there are only 2 guests, we may not make up all beds. Please let us know when you book, how your party is made up so we can make up beds accordingly. There may be an extra charge if you are coming with an electric vehicle, to cover the increased cost of electricity. The cottage is self-contained but is part of our home. It was formerly used to accommodate the coach and its driver, serving the original owners of this historic property. We have two dogs, but they are not allowed to roam free when we have guests in the cottage.
