Thank you for visiting my page. This is a renovated and certified 140-year-old Kyo-Machiya. Located in the heart of Kyoto, we are just a 7-minute walk from the Imperial Palace and Imadegawa Station (K06), with Kyoto Station only 10 minutes away by subway. We offer four bicycles free of charge for you to explore the charming backstreets that buses cannot reach. Additionally, for long stay guests , we provide a complimentary shuttle service to or from Kyoto Station upon request. The space Our Machiya is a private, standalone house that is rented out to one family/group. This allows you to experience the city like a local and enjoy complete independence. It is luxurious for 2 guests, comfortable for 4, and affordable for 6. We recommend sleeping up to 5 , while accept a maximum of 6 only if you can understand and accept that there is only one bath room and one toilet. Guest access Check-in Options: 1.If you would like assistance from the landlord during check-in, please let us know your arrival time at least one day in advance. This will allow us to greet you at the house and hand over the key to you personally. 2.Self-check-in. Please send pictures of identification for each guest one day before your arrival. We will then send you the passcode for the digital lock. Other things to note Smoking is not allowed inside or outside of the house. The only exception is the tsuboniwa (mini garden) where an ashtray is provided. We kindly ask that guests observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM to ensure a peaceful and relaxing environment for all. In accordance with Japanese government regulations, we are required to make photocopies of passports for all registered guests and keep them on file. Please bring your passport with you during check-in or, for self-check-in guests, send photos of your passport via Airbnb message.
