As one of the oldest cottages in the valley, The Tailor’s Cottage dates back to the 1800s and was once home to the village tailor and his eight children. This beautifully preserved, fully self-contained one-bedroom heritage cottage blends historical character with modern comfort. Relax on the spacious front veranda, soak in the serene surroundings, or unwind on the peaceful back veranda with a good book or a glass of wine. Inside, you’ll find a light-filled, open-plan lounge and dining area complete with a open fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The separate bedroom, tucked away at the rear of the cottage, offers both comfort and privacy. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic retreat or small families seeking a quiet escape, The Tailor’s Cottage is a warm and welcoming space to relax, recharge, and experience the charm of Kangaroo Valley. Other things to note Kangaroo Valley is ideally located between the Southern Highlands and the South Coast’s white sand beaches. Whether you're looking to unwind or stay active, Kangaroo Valley has it all. We provide everything you will need to have a relaxing stay. Full kitchen facilities, cleaning products, tea towels, pantry provisions provided. We are a family & child friendly cottage, we welcome families. A porta cot, baby bath, high chair can be provided upon request. Please let us know if you need theses little extras. Full laundry facilities, washing machine, dryer and clothes line, washing powder provided. Reverse cycle air conditioning/ heating in all rooms and open fire in lounge. You will be comfortable in summer and winter. Fully renovated bathroom. (shower only, walk in) Quality linen, bath and beach towels provided. Free Wifi and Netflix. Wifi is fast and reliable. We are located directly across the road from the Kangaroo Valley community swimming pool. It’s a great place to cool off on hot summer afternoons.
