Linric Fold - 2 Br cottage

Fully self contained 2 bdrm cottage on a lifestyle farm. (Tariff is for 2 people). We have a small herd of cattle, including 3 Scottish Highlands. The bulk of the land is in native bush, with bush walks. 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai cycle way, & about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining room/lounge - it is comfortable, warm and homely. Limited Wifi and Freeview TV available. Our home till we built our new house (see photos). The space Get away from traffic and the hustle & bustle of urban life! We offer peace & tranquility in a rural bush setting. Sit on the deck and listen to the Morepork at night, or watch the kaleidoscope of stars in the night sky! There is limited Wifi & Freeview TV available. We also have cellphone coverage, although phone calls require 4G VoLTE or 4G HD capability. There is approx. 4km of un-tarsealed road to reach our place. There is a dairy & 4Sq open during the day (closing around 5pm) in Okaihau, 15mins away. Otherwise the nearest supermarket is a 30 min drive (Kerikeri or Kaikohe) - so please plan accordingly. We run a small highland cattle farm. Guests are welcome to interact with us and our animals. You are welcome to help us with whatever tasks we may be doing. We have a native bush block where guests are welcome to wander along the marked track. Guest access Guests will have full use of the cottage and are free to roam the bulk of our farm. We just request that you leave gates, open or closed, as you find them. Our cattle do not know you, so please do not go into any paddock the cattle are in unless one of us is with you. If you want to see them we are happy to introduce you! We also have electric fences. Assume they are on and use the gates! Other things to note Our property is approx. 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri, where you will find supermarkets & other shops. We are also 10 mins from the Hokianga settlement of Horeke, and 15 mins from Okaihau. There is a dairy & a 4Sq superette in Okaihau, but these close around 5pm. We are only 1 km from the Twin-Coast Cycle-trail. There is approx. 4km of un-tarsealed road to reach our place.
