Welcome to Corte de' Furmagiàtt — one of Milan's most famous hidden courtyards, built in the 1600s as a dairy farmers' courtyard. Step through the street entrance and the noise of the city disappears. Exposed wooden beams, original brickwork, a two-floor loft: you're in the heart of Navigli, tucked inside a corner of authentic Milan that most tourists never find. Canals in 2 minutes walking. The space Upper level: double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Lower level: open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen and sofa bed. The loft is split across two floors with an internal staircase — the bedroom is open-plan above the mezzanine, as is typical for this type of space. You'll find: air conditioning, high-speed wifi (61 Mbps), 42" TV with Apple TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime, induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer, Nespresso and drip coffee maker, toaster, juicer, kettle, washer-dryer, hairdryer, hair straightener, iron and ironing board. Included: bed linen, towels, toiletries and a selection of wines and spirits. A cot and high chair are available free of charge. Paid street parking and a garage 50 metres away. Self check-in via keypad, check-in available until midnight. 50 metres: tram, supermarket, pharmacy and bar. 15-minute walk to the Duomo. Bocconi University 1 km away, IULM and Statale 1.7 km. Other things to note If you need the sofa bed, even if you are 2 people, please tell us when you do the reservation in order we can prepare it, otherwise we will prepare only the double bed. (there is an extra cost for bedlinen of 15€) Please remember Italian law required ID/passport to register all people stay. No blankets are provided during the summer (given the temperatures they are certainly not needed) and with a view to being environmentally friendly and avoiding keeping the air conditioning on at very low temperatures wasting precious electricity, given also the time of crisis we are experiencing. The hot water boiler contains 80 liters which are sufficient for at least 2 showers. Then you need to wait 10/15 minutes for it to recharge and for there to be another 80 liters of hot water.
