Enjoy having more room with this suite with private bath and 50-inch projection tv. Suite 3 is on the 2nd floor of the house. Very clean, freshly renovated. Guests share use of the well-equipped kitchen and dining room. We provide makings for tea and coffee, but do not serve breakfast. We offer 2 rooms and 2 suites, all with private bathrooms. Each has its own listing page. Look for The West End Country Inn Suite 4, Rm #1 or Rm #2. All are on the 2nd or 3rd floor. There are stairs to the screened in porch. We are located on Route 44 within walking distance of the center of town with its restaurants, shops, library, and the Farmington River! We are minutes from Ski Sundown, Peoples' State Forest, 1/2 hr. from Infinity Music Hall, and 1 hr. from Tanglewood. Assigned parking is in the rear. Let us know if you will arrive in a large-size vehicle or if you have a rear bicycle rack to determine which space you'll have. Jay and I live in an apartment on the property and are easily available by phone, if not in person, for questions and information about the area. We have our own entrance to the house. We are in the center of New Hartford, minutes away from the Farmington River (for fly-fishing and kayaking), Ski Sundown, Peoples State Park, and West Hill Lake. We are on a main thoroughfare but unfortunately there is no public transportation except for commuter buses that go into Hartford. New Hartford is a lovely little country town with year-round outdoor recreational activities - skiing, fishing, kayaking, biking, hiking, swimming. We are about a 10 minute drive from access to the Farmington River Bike Trail in Collinsville/Burlington.
