Just one block from downtown restaurants, pubs, and live music, with nearby hiking trails and waterfalls. Best suited for guests who value location and convenience over space. The space The bedroom is well-appointed with a TV, desk, dresser, reading chair, mini-fridge with freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, and microwave—offering plenty of convenient amenities for your stay. Access is secured with digital locks on the doors, along with an interior chain lock or deadbolt for added privacy and peace of mind. The room also includes a fully private en suite bathroom enclosed within the space. Guest access Guests have access to a hot tub and outdoor kitchen area for relaxing and dining outside. TVs include Spectrum streaming with live channels, and high-speed internet is provided throughout the property via an Orbi mesh Wi-Fi system. Other things to note Each unit includes one parking space suitable for a standard-sized car, which may require parallel parking. Guests with more than one vehicle, oversized vehicles, or those who prefer not to parallel park will need to use public parking lots located about two blocks away. Bedrooms are thoroughly cleaned after each stay, with fresh linens and towels provided. Housekeeping includes dusting, polishing, and vacuuming—attention to detail is a priority. Please let us know if you have sensitivities to fragrances. For multi-night stays, we’re happy to provide complimentary L.L. Bean bathrobes in sizes XS–XXL (generous fit). During the season, guests staying two nights or more enjoy complimentary L.L. Bean bicycles, paddleboards, and kayaks for use on the Kennebec River Rail Trail and the river itself. A signed liability waiver is required before use. The rail trail runs about 10 miles from Augusta to Gardiner along the river, and the boat landing is just one block away, with a kayak cart available for easy transport to the water. The Kennebec River offers excellent opportunities for paddling and exploring nearby historic downtowns, with frequent sightings of eagles, ospreys, and jumping sturgeon. A public swimming area is also available at Hallowell Town Beach, about three miles inland.
