Cozy, private, Colorado getaway! Spacious, garden-level master bedroom with private entrance, full bath, A/C, refrigerator, Keurig, microwave, and patio with seating for two. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, the room is remodeled and bright with light that pours in through the sliding glass door. We live upstairs with our children. One mile from old town Lafayette, a town center with restaurants, breweries, and shopping. Located 15-20 minutes from Boulder and 35 minutes from downtown Denver. The house is convenient to all that Lafayette, Louisville, Boulder, and Denver have to offer: restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, night life, shopping, and cultural events. Also, you will be just a stroll or a drive away from the natural beauty of the front range, with access to outdoor activities: nature walks, hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, climbing, etc. This a peaceful, cozy home in Lafayette. It is occupied by the owners, who live on the main level, providing a nice buffer to ensure privacy on the lower floor for guests. The entrance does require the ability to walk up and down several steps. We are living upstairs with our children, so you may hear footsteps and noises at times during your stay. Our guests will be given total privacy, a private entrance, and the ability to lock their room off from the rest of the house. The private room is newly remodeled with huge closets, clean carpet, a full, private bathroom, and bright lighting. The bed is a new, pillow top queen and can sleep two adults comfortably. The room has a television, access to internet, a microwave, a Keurig machine, a small refrigerator, and a few simple, kitchen amenities like cups, bowls, silverware (all for two). There is a local ski area (Eldora) 1 hour up Boulder Canyon. The larger ski areas are about 90 minutes away. We are also located 45 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park outside of Estes Park, CO. Our Lafayette location makes the trip to Denver quite convenient. *We have updated our cleaning routine to meet Airbnb’s new enhanced cleaning protocol. *We live upstairs and are a COVID conscious, vaccinated household. You will have access to the bedroom and bathroom on the lower level, accessible through a private entrance with a key for guests to come and go as they please. The entrance requires a few stairs, so unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. If there is a need for additional amenities, feel free to contact us, your hosts. We are available to our guests, but are very respectful of guest privacy. Our neighborhood is safe and full of wonderful families. You will see many out jogging and cycling, walking dogs and pushing strollers. There is a big park nearby with play equipment and large grassy areas. The best form of transportation in this area is by car. We are about a mile from downtown Lafayette. It's a fairly long, but pleasant walk. If you have your own car, feel free to park on the street in front of the house and the path to the bnb.
